Julius is a critical thinker, brainstormer, writer and passionate content creator with a purpose of raising our social and environmental consciousness. He believes in 'Following one's Bliss' by answering the Hero's call. He says since this Hero stems from the collective core of each of us, it can unite all of us.
Julius is held by Grandma and his dear brother Joseph standing in front of Grandpa talking about a nearby cat. Grandpa taught the boys many great lessons for life. Julius cherishes the memories of fixing things around the house or building toys. He even features some of Grandpa's wisdom in his books.
Here, Julius is next Mom, Joseph is to Dad. Soon after this photo was taken, a horrible accident happened almost costing the life of Joseph. It was caused by Julius and led to the separation of the boys for decades. His novel “Brothers” is based on that story. It is a journey of tears from sorrow to joy.
Julius is hosting a workshop on how to make ornamental violins out of corn-stalk. He learned this from Grandpa. Every participant managed to make one. Their feat didn't go unnoticed. A high school was about to put on the play; 'Fidler on the Roof' and displayed their violins in their hall. They also needed beards so ..
.. the drama teacher asked Julius if he could make some. In days, Julius had 2 dosens and texted a picture modelling one. He also wore a hat for fun. The beards were approved and delivered. The play was a huge success. Hundreds of parents saw it and the violin display. The event became a joyous community celebration.
Despite having written several books, Julius struggled with marketing. He became depressed. One day, a mysterious picture of his book appeared online. He thought it was posted by his old publishing-service provider. The one that turned his dream into a nighmare by scamming him. But he took the book away from them ...
.. there was no uploaded version. Yet there it was his book for $6.724,99. Julius took a screenshot but remained puzzled. This had to be a sign. The Universe did not want him to quit. It tried to tell him, he was meant for greatness. Incidentally, this book was called "Restoring Balance". How subtle, smiled Julius.
Having run the some of the biggest marathons, like Boston, L.A. Chicago, Mianmi, or the original in Greece, etc, Julius wanted a different experience. He wanted to give back. He chose to run the N. Y. City marathon as a running-guide to a blind person . This story is told in his 'Climbing High to be Grounded' book.
Victor Hugo wrote the Les Miserable and the whole world changed. An awareness about a more Just world came with it. This was achieved by the power of a pen, Julius realized. But how about the power of pursuing one’s dream? May that be Gustav Eiffel with his famous Tower and all ...
other artists leaving their own legacy or Julius himself, the memory of having run the Paris Marathon years ago. And now he was back partially to be reminded of what it had felt like and also to treat his lovely wife. Perhaps the grandest yet simplest ways was to share some freshly baked baguettes, cheese and wine.
I would love to be on TEDTalk one day. My presentation is called: Simple Solutions to Complex Problems. But once more, it seems difficult to find a way. In the meantime, I keep writing more books from my heart in order to resonate in every person’s heart. I hope the Universe might appreciate this and hear my prayer.
